Harlem Gospel Choir: Magic of Motown Tour 2025 Budapest, Papp László Sportaréna November 18, 2025. Tuesday, 7:30 PM

The world’s most renowned gospel choir is returning to Hungary! The Harlem Gospel Choir, one of the brightest beacons of African American gospel tradition, will enchant the Budapest audience on November 18 at the Papp László Sportaréna.

Hailing from the heart of Harlem, New York, this legendary group brings its “Magic of Motown” tour to life an uplifting musical journey through the timeless hits of Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, and Stevie Wonder.

This performance is more than just a concert: it's an unforgettable experience, defined by soul-stirring vocals, electrifying energy, and the dignity of sharing the stage with global icons. The Harlem Gospel Choir delivers not only music, but a deeply moving spiritual experience that touches the heart’s deepest emotions.

Founded in 1986 by Allen Bailey, the Harlem Gospel Choir has been spreading the legacy of Black American gospel music for over three decades. They have performed alongside legends such as Bono, Diana Ross, Pharrell Williams, Gorillaz, and Sam Smith, with whom they shared a standout moment at the 2018 Grammy Awards. Their audience has included three U.S. presidents, two popes, and the United Nations General Assembly.

This is a joyful, soul-filled musical celebration, where the Harlem Gospel Choir offers not just a show, but a genuine spiritual encounter. Their performance is both sacred and passionate, modern yet deeply rooted in tradition.

No one leaves sitting down expect a celebration filled with song, dance, and inner renewal.

This year’s tour pays tribute to the classics of the Motown era, performed with deep respect and unmatched vitality. While their soul is rooted in Harlem, their message is timeless and universal:Love. Hope. Unity.

The concert is organized by Green Stage Production, whose motto is: "To protect our Earth, our conscious goal is to calculate the Ecological footprint of every concert and performance we organize based on the energy consumption data.
