    Harry Potter: The Exhibition allows fans to revisit the world of Harry Potter. Discover some of your favourite moments, characters, locations and magical creatures from Harry Potter and the entire wizarding world.     In which languages can the exhibition be viewed?

    All exhibition texts are available in Hungarian and English.

    How long will the exhibition be open?

    The exhibition will be open from 3 pm of February 6, 2026, to May 1, 2026.

    What age group is the exhibition recommended for?

    The interactive experience is suitable for all ages. Only a few parts of the exhibition may be slightly frightening for younger visitors.

    How can I get to the exhibition?

    Arriving by car:
    Budapest, take Route 11 towards Szentendre. At the first traffic light after entering the town, turn left towards Budakalász. After the ALDI supermarket, turn left after about 100 meters.
    From Budakalász, heading towards Szentendre, the entrance is on the right-hand side, just before reaching the town.

    Arriving by public transport: 
    We recommend using the dedicated bus schedule. The exact departure and arrival times can be viewed at the following links, depending on the direction of travel:

    Our colleagues will assist you with boarding at the bus stops and with card payments on site.
    The bus ticket costs 500 HUF, which is valid for 1 person and 1 trip.
    The bus is free for children under 6 years of age.

    We kindly ask all guests to carefully select their bus based on the schedule so that they arrive on time if they have a time-limited ticket. Please look for the bus stops marked on the maps, which are also marked with Harry Potter: The Exhibition flags to help you find them easily from a distance.

    Do you accept SZÉP cards?

    Yes, you can pay with OTP SZÉP card on site only. (Online payment not available.)

    Is there on-site ticket sales?

    Yes, tickets can also be purchased on site. However, we recommend buying them in advance online for a guaranteed and smooth entry — online tickets are also cheaper than those bought on site.

    If there are no tickets available online for the given time slot, it will not be possible to purchase tickets on site either. Please check the availability of tickets before departure.

    What do the time slots mean when buying tickets online?

    Time slots help avoid crowding and ensure a pleasant visitor experience. Tickets are valid for a specific time, and entry is possible only at the time indicated on the ticket.
    Please arrive about 10 minutes early and queue in the designated line.
    If you arrive outside your selected time slot, the price difference between a regular and a Flex ticket must be paid on site.

    What does the VIP ticket include?

    The VIP ticket provides an exclusive package designed to enhance your event experience with added comfort and special gifts. VIP guests receive the following:

    • Commemorative lanyard
    • VIP card
    • Canvas tote bag

    None of this tickets include priority access. 

    I’m having trouble buying tickets online. Who can I contact?

    Do I need to print my tickets?

    Printing your tickets is not required. After purchase, the tickets received in the confirmation email can also be shown on your phone upon entry.

    Is there parking available?

    Yes, there is a paid parking lot near the event hall.
    The parking fee is 1,000 HUF, which can be paid just by bank card.
    There's limited parking, so we suggest using the dedicated bus service.

    How long does the exhibition take to visit?

    Visiting the exhibition takes approximately 90 minutes.

    From what age do children need a ticket?

    Admission is free for children under 4 years old.
    Between 4 and 14 years of age, discounted child tickets are available.

    Is the exhibition accessible with a stroller?

    For the protection of the exhibits and installations, strollers are not allowed inside the exhibition area.
    Please plan accordingly and use a baby carrier or similar device instead.

    Is the exhibition indoors or outdoors?


    The exhibition is held indoors, inside the Green Event Hall.
    However, any waiting time for admission will be outdoors, which may take longer. Please dress appropriately for the weather. 

    Is the venue accessible for people with disabilities?

    Yes, the venue is fully accessible and can be visited with a wheelchair.

    Can I visit the exhibition with a dog?

    No, dogs are not allowed at the exhibition, except for guide dogs assisting visitors with disabilities.

    Do you accept teacher ID cards?

    Yes, with a valid teacher ID, you can purchase a discounted child ticket.
    If the teacher accompanies a school group, their entry is free of charge.

    Is there a cloakroom?

    Yes, the cloakroom costs 500 HUF per coat, and bags larger than A4 size are not allowed in the exhibition. Coat + bag together cost 800 HUF.
    The cloakroom fee can only be paid by credit card.
