Founded in 2001, they were able to prove their self-titled debut album, their brilliance. The single "Take me out" became a hit and gave them five Brit Award nominations, of which it won two.
With "You Could Have It So Much Better" - the second album - their success only grew further. "Do You Want To" became the biggest hit in Glasgow and paved the way for them to worldwide success.
Last published in 2009, "Tonight: Franz Ferdinand," whose success was no near the predecessor, but proved that the potential of the force was not long exhausted.
Franz Ferdinand are currently working on their fourth album, which is scheduled for release on August 26th, 2013.
