Joško Čagalj, better known as Jole or “Popular Jole”, Is a Croatian popular music singer.
Beginning with 1988, he holds concerts in various clubs in Split, sometimes as a back vocal to singers like Tedi Spalato, Vinko Coce and Dražen Zečić.
Čagalj started collaborating with Tonči Huljić, which resulted with an appearance on “Melodies of the Croatian Adriatic Sea” in 1998 with Huljić’s song “Duša od papira”.
Next year, Jole gave out a debut album called “Jednina I množina”. The following albums were “Sve su žene lijepe” (2001), “Otključano!” (2004), “Retrorama” (2005), “Zlatna kolekcija” (2007) and “Odijelo” (2009).
