Lidija Bauk is a Croatian singer-songwriter, poet and one of the leading figures of Croatian ethno music.
She started her musical career by playing as opening for American musicians like John Mayall and Joan Baez. She released four of her solo ethno albums: “Zora-djevojka” (1997), “Kneja” (1999), “Tira les” (2001) and “Luna” (2005).
She has also written several significant books about ethnology and folklore. Her most known work is “Kneja” and it’s used as additional literature on ethnological studies.
Lidija has been a guest on several compilation and author albums, while her discography numbers for solo albums.
