Massive Attack are an English music group from Bristol. Created in 1988, the band consists of Robert “3D” Del Naja and Grand “Daddy G” Marshall. They make records and tour live, working with co-producers, as well as various musicians and guest vocalists. “Blue Lines” (1991) was their debut album with the single “Unfinished sympathy”, it reached the charts and was later voted the 10th greatest song of all time in a poll by The Guardian. Following were “Mezzanine” (1998) and “100th Window” (2003) both charted in the UK at number 1. “Blue Lines” and “Mezzanine” feature in Rolling Stones list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In total, they released 5 studio albums that have sold over 11 million copies worldwide.
