To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the unique International Choir Festival C.H.O.I.R., 240 young singers from around the world come together to form an impressive ensemble and bring Giuseppe Verdi's masterpiece, the Messa da Requiem, to life.
Founded in 1996, as a German-French choir exchange, the festival C.H.O.I.R. has grown into one of the largest international gatherings of young singers.
Especially in times of political uncertainty, C.H.O.I.R. stands as a powerful symbol of music's ability to unite people across borders and cultures.
Participants from 11 different countries live and work together for one week at the State Academy for Young Musicians in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, and present Verdi’s Requiem on an international concert tour.
Audiences can experience the energy, spontaneity, and enthusiasm of these young musicians as they celebrate 30 years of this unique International Youth Choir Meeting.
